Our mission is to serve our readers with the news they need and the journalism they deserve.
But in this pandemic, it's become clear that our readers also want to ensure we won't be one of the casualties of COVID-19. Time and time again, we have received donations both big and small from readers who want to support that mission.
So we have come up with a way to pay that generosity forward. We will pool our reader donations into a fund that will pay for online subscriptions to the Free Press for those who can't afford one but who want access to a trusted news source.
Choose one option depending if you want to donate or to be a beneficiary of a free subscription. We will take care of matching the donations to those in need. And all submissions will be kept strictly confidential.
The names and contact details of all applicants will remain confidential.
