It's going to get hotter inland tomorrow on the second day of the heat wave. Excessive Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories remain up for most of the Bay Area except the coast and San Francisco until Friday night.
The Spare the Air alert has been extended through tomorrow due to higher concentrations of ozone. Smoke from wildfires burning to our south is expected to move in aloft. The fog will be limited to the coast and bay overnight.
The Look Ahead
The heat eases on Friday and noticeably cooler weather arrives this weekend. Temperatures will drop closer to average by Sunday.
