Lego looks better with lights
I compared a few light kits before settling on this one. The main reason I chose it was because it hides the wires well (as I don't like seeing loose wires hanging around). Overall I am very happy with it as it makes the Alpine Lodge look awesome at night. I placed my lodge on a lazy susan so I could view both sides with ease. Because of that, I didn't hook up the light connected to the outhouse. Also I didn't use the battery boxes as my rechargeable batteries were too bulky to fit. So I purchased a usb hub with a timer, and it works great.

Another great light kit! I love these lights for my village. I buy them every year for the holiday released sets and am never disappointed. Their customer service is impeccable, shipping is quick and installation is easy with a little patience.

"Hanno cambiato il tipo di luci con un approccio ibrido che non è più bello. Ho comperato altri sei kit originali Lightailing e sono molto deluso da questo, che ha alcune strisce led adesive che sono antiestetiche e che tendono a scollarsi. Ad esempio, una volta bastava sostituire le lanterne gialle da esterno con quelle fornite già di led all'interno (vedi foto vecchio modello). Ora invece devi applicare le luci adesive dietro alle lanterne originali, che risaltano e non si integrano altrettanto bene al modello. Non capisco il perché di questo nuovo design ma non mi piace; continuassero così, non le comprerò più."
