More About Michelle
Michelle is an editorial partner at a16z, where she leads the venture content team.
Prior to joining a16z, Michelle managed the edit team for Amazon’s communications and public policy arm and was the head of content at AWS’s startup division. She was also the head of content at Index Ventures. Prior to joining the startup and venture world, Michelle was a reporter and editor at various publications, including The Wall Street Journal, HuffPost, The Boston Globe, and Entertainment Weekly. She frequently appeared as a commentator on numerous news and talk shows, as well as national public radio.
Born and raised in South Florida, Michelle graduated from Harvard University with a BA in History & Literature. She now resides in Los Angeles with her husband and sons.
