I really enjoyed this book. Teen Mom is my guilty pleasure as a 36 year old professional working wife and mom. I read The Ashley's blog regularly and have read a few of the Teen Mom's books. Teen Mom Confidential had a lot of information that I had not heard before. It was really interesting to me to have the backstory on these girls and their families that brought them to this place. I really feel like Ashley does her best to give the full unbiased information and has reliable sources that she draws from. I like that some of the info is directly from the girls themselves or from family members that are involved directly. Not just "a source close to..." or someone who thinks they know. Great job Ashley. Keep up the good investigative work and thanks for feeding my guilty little secret!

I follow a lot of the blogs on these girls and the shows, and am a HUGE fan of Teen Mom so I was so thrilled to hear there was a book out about them. I brought it on a trip with me and literally could not put it down. They had a lot of stuff in there that I never knew-- I especially liked learning about the girls' lives before they were on the show. I had no clue they had such crazy childhoods. I also liked the fact that the authors actually interviewed the girls from the shows and that I recognized a lot of the people they talked to, and they didn't just say "a source says." They interviewed Kail and Leah's mom and Butch and Farrah and their friends and family members and a bunch of the 16 & Pregnant girls. I'd totally recommend this book.

If your like me and don't follow the girls on twitter or other sites you will enjoy what this book has to offer. I only watch the shows and go on 1 or 2 teen mom blogs so a lot of what is in this book was new to me. Even things that I already knew were expanded on a bit. The book even gives some information on the current status of some girls who never appear in the tabloids because they don't do stupid things. This book is kind of a fast read though, but mostly because you don't want to put it down. The book also gives a good insight to how exactly 16 and pregnant and teen mom are filmed.

I purchased the book having read that it was going to be full of gossip and behind the scenes details. It was not. The book paints the girls one way by crew for half a page, then they are praised and made to look like Angels and victims, except for Jenelle and Farrah. The book focuses more on the cast of 16&Pregnant, most of whom I don't even remember!! The books seems to be full of useless facts that I've already read or heard about from the show itself, or on gossip sites that don't make you pay to read an article. I really wish I could give it no stars and get my money back. If you're going to get confidential, then really get confidential and share the real behind the scenes stories of what really happens

VERY disappointed in this book. Was not worth the 9.99 I spent on it for my kindle AT ALL. It seems like all the authors did was compile all of the tabloids from the past 4 years and put them in a book. Yes, there were a few parts of the book that I enjoyed reading, like the parts of butch's life story and stormie's letter. I would say a majority of the information I already knew though from keeping up with tabloids. I thought there would be more secrets and behind the scenes stuff than what there was.
