Seeking new volunteers for the upcoming school year!

While we’re currently in a summer state of mind as our Summer Camps are in full swing, the 2022-2023 school year is just around the corner! We’re looking forward to resuming our programs in late August with After-School Tutoring beginning August 22 and In-Schools projects and Field Trips following shortly thereafter. 

To support our wonderful students, we’re eagerly looking for additional volunteer tutors! Volunteers are at the core of how we serve students, and their support is instrumental to our programs. Interested in volunteering? Join a New Volunteer Orientation to get started! Know someone who would make a great addition to the 826 community? Invite them to attend as well!

Upcoming New Volunteer Orientations are scheduled for:

• Tuesday, August 2, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm @ Tenderloin Center, 180 Golden Gate Ave.
• Monday, August 8, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm @ Mission Center, 826 Valencia St.
• Thursday, August 11, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm @ Mission Center, 826 Valencia St.
• Friday, August 19, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm @ Mission Bay Center, 1300 4th St.
