Rolling Arts-Portrait Prints (Ages 10-13)

Description A two-session workshop Teacher Evelyn Chuang and Koto Garcia-Marquis For who Open to 15 students, ages 10-13 When Sundays, May 5th and May 12th Time 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Location 826 Valencia Mission Center Writing Lab
In this new workshop, students will have the opportunity to write and create a unique piece of art, brought to you by Rolling Arts, a program created by SOTA students Evelyn and Koto. Students will spend the first session writing a poem and the second session creating art by carving designs into reusable linoleum stamp. No experience necessary! The instructors will walk students through the process and students will be able to keep their stamps and poems.

After registering, staff will reach out to offer a spot depending on eligibility and availability in the program. Our workshops are open to everyone, but we give priority to SFUSD students with a socio-economic need and hold spaces for students enrolled in our other programs.
