Closing Arguments Begin In Corruption Trial Of Senator Bob Menendez

The federal corruption trial of New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez is moving closer to a conclusion.

Closing arguments are set to begin on Monday, setting the stage for the jury to get the case by the end of the week. The defense rested its case last week without Menendez taking the stand in his own defense.

Prosecutors allege that Menendez accepted bribes and lavish gifts in exchange for his political influence. He's pleaded not guilty.
