Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning talked with Political Commentator Chris Matthews about the Democrat's situation after Biden crashed and burned in the first debate.

Matthews said, "It's not just Biden's family who have to tell Joe he isn't up to the job any longer, it's also the staff's job to be honest with the President. Why in the world would they let President Biden use his last two minutes of debate time talking about raising taxes, you need to give the people something upbeat, something to look forward to in the future. And here's a thought for everyone who wants Biden to leave, who do you have with the juice to beat former President Trump, Kamala Harris, Gavin Newsome? Biden is the incumbent; he has to use that to his advantage and prove that he can lead the country for another four years."
