Teachers Arrested For Sex With Students Flirted With Teens, Fathers: Report

Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler, the two Georgia teachers arrested for allegedly having sex with three students reportedly had a reputation for being "boy-crazy" and flirting with teenagers and their fathers, the New York Post reports.

Greeson and Shuler, both 23, worked together at a Calhoun City high school until being charged with sexual contact by an employee or agent in the first degree stemming from allegations of sleeping with male students between October 2021 and January 2022, according to an indictment obtained by 11Alive.

“I’m not trying to stereotype, but you could look at them and tell they were trouble,” said Audrey Decker, whose stepdaughter attends the school, via the New York Post. “They just seemed boy-crazy. And everyone in the school knew it and joked about it.”

"Ugh, they were flirts,” said a mother of a sophomore student, who asked the New York Post not to use her name. “You should have seen them with any attractive parents who came to the school. They would flirt with any of the dads.”

“You know: laughing too loud, getting too close, that type of thing,” the mother added. “Flirting. Trying to be cute. They were shameless.”

Greeson allegedly had sex with two different students between late 2021 and early 2022, while Shuler is accused of having sex with one student during that span. The indictment didn't specify how old the students were at the time, but the charges indicated that they may have been above the age of consent, which is 16 in the state of Georgia.

The two teachers are reported have been good friends for several years, which included Greeson serving as the maid of honor at Shuler's wedding on November 12, 2022, months after the alleged sexual relationship with the student took place. Shuler's wedding website, which has since been scrubbed, reportedly described Greeson as her "best friend" and "ride or die," according to the New York Post.

Shuler also served as the maid of honor at Greeson's wedding nearly one year later. Shuler and her husband appear to have split as his social media pages appear to show him in a relationship with another woman while Greeson and her husband still appear to be married based on social media posts, the New York Post reported.

Both women were booked at the Gordon County Jail and released on bond, according to the Gordon Gazette. The former teachers could face up to 25 years in prison or a $100,000 fine if convicted of the charges.
