About 9th & 9th
9th & 9th sits north of Sugarhouse and southeast of Downtown. In many ways, this little neighborhood is a miniature version of Sugarhouse - one filled with hip restaurants, locally owned shops and attractive homes. Yet, because of its smaller size and lower intensity, many prefer 9th & 9th to its southern sister.
See & Do
9th & 9th is a bustling, largely residential neighborhood filled with young, hip and active people. So it’s not surprising that it is also the home to one of the city’s best yoga studios, Centered City Yoga. Offering an enormous selection of yoga practices directed toward an equally diverse set of practitioners - men, women, children and teens - Centered City caters to everyone, all shapes and sizes.
Eat
This neighborhood is a goldmine of eateries. Within just a few city block of one another lie some of the city’s most popular, locally owned eateries. Among these is Pago, Salt Lake City’s #1 farm-to-table restaurant. Also topping the list is the ever popular Italian restaurant, Café Trio. Casual diners will love Great Harvest Bread Company and Barbacoa Mexican Grill.
Shop
Within the immediate vicinity of the 9th & 9th intersection is a large handful of local boutiques. Among the most popular of these is Contender Bicycles - the city’s top choice among elite cyclists, and the meeting place for community rides. Trolley Square, just slightly to the northwest, is a refurbished, historic trolley barn that holds dozens of shops and restaurants.
