See & Do
As one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Dallas, Highland Park is the place to live. One of the most appealing aspects of this high-class spot is its beautiful parks. Even if you can't afford to live there, you can still enjoy the manicured outdoor spaces, complete with swan ponds, fountains, tennis courts and walking paths. Take a stroll to Lakeside Park, which features a unique collection of granite teddy bears.
Eat
No matter what you're in the mood for, Highland Park has it all. Highland Park Village features a wide variety of great restaurants, including Patrizio's, the perfect place for Italian food and bellinis, as well as Cafe Pacific (seafood), Mi Cocina (Tex-Mex) and Marquee Grill and Bar (New American). Or make a reservation at Al Biernet's, an iconic Highland Park restaurant.
Party
Because of Highland Park's central location, locals can get to bars and nightclubs in nearby Uptown, Knox-Henderson and Downtown pretty quickly. However, several neighborhood restaurants are hot spots for happy hour gatherings. Sevy's Grill is a popular happy hour spot for the 35+ crowd , while Marquee Grill is a great place to start off or finish an evening out on the town.
Shop
Highland Park Village is the oldest outdoor mall in the U.S., and it is one of the best shopping spots in Big D if you're in the market for luxury goods and designer labels. Some of the retailers there include Gucci, Chanel, Harry Winston, Ralph Lauren, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo.
