During lunch, they offer a few breakfast options and on weekends they open for brunch. They offer a daily happy hour on weekdays from 3 - 6 PM with discounts on sangria and $6 sandwiches. You can not go wrong with their Tonkotsu, a traditional pork broth, savory and rich. pork belly, soft-poached egg and scallions. The portions here are huge and your $12 bowl of Ramen should easily fill you up. If dining with kids, consider having them split a bowl. There are only 4 options for entrees on their menu, but this keeps things simple and quick. When dining with kids you want great food, but you need it to be an efficient experience and Boxer Ramen does both of these perfectly.

They have a variety of egg sandwiches available with pork, fried chicken, or bacon. You can wash it down with a standard cup of coffee or a cocktail. Vegetarians will appreciate options like polenta bowls, shakshuka, pancakes, and a seasonal, and fruit-stuffed breakfast salad. If you have a large group make sure they can accommodate you before heading that way because their space is quite small.

Their signature desserts comprise of many flavors from Thailand including Thai Tea flavored ice cream and macaroons. All of their food is made from scratch using local products and ingredients. Not only is their food awesome, but their restaurant is cool too. They brought over a Tuk Tuk booth from Thailand that you can sit in inside their restaurant. Kid's love sitting inside of it!

Olympia Provisions Southeast has grown from establishing the city's first salumeria to being a destination for refined, European-style dishes. Hidden away in the corner of an old warehouse, Alex Yoder's dishes highlight the locally-sourced meats and seasonal vegetables you'll find on his menus. For lunch, they offer two soups each day one with meat and one that's vegetarian. they offer meat and cheese boards. They have an international selection of cheeses and wines. They also have a selection of custom cocktail creations available. Reservations are accepted for 5 or more at lunch and brunch, and for all sizes at dinner.

Por Que No shares the flavors and the essence of what we found from the Pacific Coast of Mexico to the mountains of Oaxaca. They use only Pacific coast fish and wild shrimp from sustainable fisheries. The results are outstanding and all their food is bursting with flavor. Everything is homemade including the tortillas and tortilla chips. You will enjoy sitting around communal tables eating tacos or one of their bowls in their brightly colored restaurant. Along with the food they have a fun cocktail list. The kids meals and underwhelming and you are better off ordering your child some of the tacos.

PDX Sliders in Sellwood are crafting some of the best beef, chicken, and pork sliders in all of Portlandia. All their sliders are named after Portland's famous bridges. Beef burger choices are one of a kind like their Hawthorne slider made with beef, bacon, goat cheese, strawberry preserves on a brioche bun. Their chicken sliders are equally as creative like their Morrison slider a herb marinated chicken topped with bacon, pesto, arugula and aioli served on a ciabatta bun. Their pork sliders are award winning. The Broadway pork slider made with braised pork, peppers, arugula, and spicy aioli won the Judge's Choice Award and the Eat Mobile & People's Choice Award at the Portland Food Cart Festival! Lardo's originally started out as a food cart and has grown to three permanent locations in Portland on in the Hawthorne district and one in Downtown Portland on Washington Street. The sandwiches are enormous. Most of the sandwiches offered here are Italian creations like the rapini and grilled mortadella. Their most popular sandwich is the pork belly, egg and cheese. Lardo also offers salads and fries, including their famous dirty fries made with pork and herbs. Lardo's drinks are cheap too. All beers here are just $5 a pint. The Hawthorne location has a nice outdoor patio.

Luc Lac is an outstanding Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Portland. The only thing more outrageous than their low prices is how delicious the food is. The chicken curry is jammed pack with veggies, the honey chicken is a large portion with rice and spring roll, and their secret family recipe pho comes in heaping portions. On top of the great food, they have incredible cocktails, beer, and wine. Luc Lac is open for lunch during the weekdays and opens for dinner every day. They stay open until midnight on weekdays and 4 am on weekends making this a go to place for late night dining.
