Hopworks Urban Brewery is Portland's first eco brewpub and home to their family friendly pub. The pub serves good food and beers. There are many TVs spread throughout the pub to watch sports on. They added a large back room that is perfect for groups. They incorporate sustainable practices in their operation. Hopworks is 100% renewably powered and "cradle to gate" carbon neutral. They offer tours every Saturday at 3 PM. Hopworks is a 20 barrel brewery that produces 10,000 barrels of organic beer a year. All tours include 2 beer tastings. Departure restaurant and lounge is found in downtown Portland inside the Nines Hotel. They serve their own signature cocktail creations, like the Three Headed Elephant and Crazy 88. BRIX Tavern, an American restaurant and bar, is the perfect place in the Pearl District to dine with a large group. The overall layout of the restaurant makes it Ideal for large groups. Deschutes Brewery brings the Scottish pub to the Northwest over in the Pearl District. They have 18 beers on tap which include Deschutes mainstays, experimental beers, and seasonal ales. Deschutes Brewery is best known for their Mirror Pond Pale Ale and Black Butte Porter. They take pride in not only offering good beers, but equally good food. The food is locally sourced, often organic, and prepared fresh daily. They offer interesting food like deviled eggs, elk burgers, apple red onion tart, and rootbeer braised pork belly. Deschutes Brewery has a good happy hour Monday - Friday from 4 to 6 PM.

Located on the 30th floor of the Unico/US Bancorp Tower, this stylish steakhouse is lined with panoramic windows showcasing gorgeous views of downtown Portland. As the sun sets over the Cascade Mountains, patrons savor exquisite martinis, such as the lavender lemon drop, and superb steak and seafood dishes. The hand-seasoned steaks are served with a baked potato or buttermilk mashed potatoes as well as lavish additions like lemon basil lobster butter or triple cream Gorgonzola. Built in 1915, this architecturally beautiful structure served generations of students before being closed in 1980. Following a series of renovations by the McMenamin brothers, it reopened as a neighborhood entertainment facility. These days, it houses a 57 room bed and breakfast, restaurant, several bars and a gift shop. Families can grab a bite to eat in the Courtyard Restaurant and if it is a nice day they can site out on the cozy Courtyard Restaurant Patio. Here you can enjoy McMenamin draft beers and wines. Much of the food is organic and they have a nice variety of food choices available. Whether you want a curry, hamburger, salad, or a steak they have it.

Located in the heart of Portland's Pearl District, the neighborhood is comprised of boutique shops, art galleries and old industrial building converted into high-end lofts. Andina has a formal dining room and a more casual bar featuring live, Latin-influnced music every night of the week. Though Andina is one of the more expensive restaurants in Portland, most diners agree that the food and attentive service is well worth the cost.
