Proud Mary originated from Melbourne, Australia and they opened their first and only cafe here in Portland. Their space is one of a kind because the owner Nolan and his family built it themselves. Nolan even designed the espresso machines they use. They roast their coffee on-site and the staff can tell you the story behind each of the coffees handpicked by Nolan. Proud Mary is better known for its tremendous coffee, but the food is just as good. They source locally the fresh ingredients they use and make sure they come from those participating in ethical and sustainable practices.
