The tavern features all the things Portlanders love about McMenamins including two pool tables, a snooker table, and shuffle board. They have the standard pub food found at most McMenamins including Cajun tots. They also serve 20 McMenamins beers on tap. Plus they also have McMenamins ciders, wines, and spirits. This particular McMenamins is a great spot to play pool The atmosphere is laid back and fun. It's also affordable at less than $5 an hour for a table.

The spacious venue boasts a funky decor and serves up microbrews crafted in the on-site Crystal Ballroom Brewery as well as a collection of stiff cocktails. For distraction, there are pool tables and pinball machines, but there should be enough activity and conversation that you don't need anything else to hold your attention. The pub food menu offers all your favorites and adds a nice twist with dishes inspired by global cultures. A great place to meet people.

Come hungry, because they offer fabulous 5 course meals for just $36 using seasonal and local ingredients. There are no reservations needed for a table. Pool tables run $10 an hour during the week and $12 an hour on the weekends. They offer a happy hour from 4-6:30 PM. At night the dining room turns into a game room offering activities like Poker tables, Backgammon or Trivial Pursuit.
