Breakside Brewery is an award-winning brewery with three locations in Portland, Oregon, including this one, their original neighborhood brewpub. Beer lovers will love visiting in person since many of their beers are made in small batches and can only be found at this location. In addition to these beers, they offer year-round and quarterly beers. 12 beers are always available on tap. Migration Brewing has a brand new location out on the east side in Gresham with 10 beers on tap, 7 of their core beers and 3 seasonal beers. Migration Brewing has pizzas, sandwiches, and salads. For the younger patrons, they have a small kids menu. They have happy hour from 3 - 5 P.M with a dollar off pints and house wine. On Saturdays, they offer brewery tours at 3 P.M. If you can't make a tour on Saturday they are happy to set up tours for groups on different days with advanced notice. There is no charge for a tour.

Upright Brewery specializes in farmhouse beers inspired by France and Belgium with a Pacific North West twist including local ingredients. Upright Brewery's tasting room is open on Fridays from 4:30 - 9:00 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 - 6:00 PM. They also open at 6:00 PM until the Blazers tip-off on game days. During those times you can try 5 or 12-ounce beers, see the brewery and view the open fermentation room. If you ask for a tour they will likely give you one! They also have items for sale from local artists including photography, paintings, and crafts. Minors are allowed and they accept cash and checks only.

Laurelwood Public House and Brewery, also known as Laurelwood Brewery is an enjoyable relaxed brewpub for anyone, including families. Their onsite brewery features a 15 barrel brewery system and one of their brewers will give you a tour if you ask! Their food and micro beers delicious, and it's all certified organic and free range. Laurelwood brews their own organic beers and often offer unique seasonal beers. They always have ten of their beers on tap. For families, Laurelwood Brewery has assorted play areas sprinkled throughout the restaurant that kids will love. Laurelwood offers a large happy hour menu daily from 3-6 PM and 9 PM - close. On the weekends Laurelwood opens at 10 AM for their delicious brunch.

Von Ebert is a large spacious brewpub in the Pearl district that makes around 100 different styles of beer a year. With so many options their draft list changes every 3 or 4 days. Their beers are creative with options like Pink Guava Ale or the Baltic Porter made with chocolate, dates, and raisins. They offer a full menu with burgers, charcuterie & cheese boards, soups, pizzas and salads. If you ask, you might just score a tour of the brewing operations. If you make arrangements in advance, they will try to accommodate a tour.

Edgefield Brewery is part of the McMenamins Edgefield, a 74-acre entertainment complex with a hotel, bars, movies theater and more. The Edgefield brewery was open in 1991 and is the largest brewery in the McMenamins family. Edgefield Brewery tours are usually offered Monday �— Saturday at 1 pm. You will want to check with them before showing up for the tour. While you are there consider visiting the Powerstation Pub or one of the other bars on the property to try locals favorite McMenamins beer, the Ruby Ale. The Edgefield Brewery is just one of several McMenamins' breweries you can tour.

Hopworks Urban Brewery is Portland's first eco-brewpub. They incorporate sustainable practices in their operation. Hopworks is 100% renewably powered and "cradle to gate" carbon neutral. Hopworks offers free tours every Saturday at 3 PM of their 20 barrel brewery that produces 10,000 barrels of organic beer a year. All tours include 2 beer tastings. Their tours can accommodate up to 20 people and preference is given to those who make a reservation, even though reservations are not required. Closed-toe shoes are required for the tour. Ground Breaker Brewing creates all gluten-free beers. They have 8 gluten-free beers on tap at their Gastropub as well as one guest tap. A free brewery tour can be arranged before 5:00 on days that the gastropub is open by asking your server. For tours any other time, it is best to schedule the tour by calling ahead. If you are visiting Portland outside of their regular pub hours, they will still try to arrange a tour and tasting for you. They prefer that you scheduled tours with a group of at least four people. Ecliptic Brewing offers walk-in tours available at 12:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Closed-toe shoes are required on all tours. Your tour may be amended as the guide sees fit depending on the activities happening in the brewery the day of your visit, so do not be disappointed if you tour isn't the same as your friends was. Ecliptic Brewing's flagship beers include Starburst IPA, Carina Peach Sour Ale, Capella Porter and Orbiter IPA. They have a seasonal series that changes five times a year and include the popular Quasar Pale Ale and Filament Winter IPA.
