About Stateline
Stateline is probably the most popular place on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. It is right on the border of California, but since casinos are not allowed in the Golden State, you will need to stay on the Nevada side to do any gaming. Stateline has been famous for decades for having some of the best entertainment acts at the lake. Starting with the Brat Pack in the 1950s and 1960s and ending up with bands like Sublime and the Beach Boys now. Stateline's main casinos are the Horizon, Harvey's, Harrah's and Montbleu. All these are resorts with restaurants, spas and hotel rooms with views of the lake and mountains. The nearest ski resort to Stateline is just over the border in California. Heavenly has one of the best gondola rides n the lake and wonderful views of the area from the top.
