About Incline Village
Incline Village is one of the largest towns in Lake Tahoe and is the main town for the lake that is located in Nevada. The Village is home to large mansions (some belonging to several famous people) as well as some great hotels and restaurants. Incline Village is also the closest town to the Lake Tahoe State Park and Sand Harbor, some of the prettiest places on the lake.
See & Do
Lake Tahoe State Park is just south of Incline Village and is probably one of the prettiest parks on the lake. This is where a lot of locals go to sunbathe on the rocks that dot the shoreline or jump around in azure pools of cold water. The state park also includes access to Sand Harbor and the boat launch near Sand Harbor.
Eat
Some local favorites are located in Incline Village including Mofo's Pizza & Pasta, the Lone Eagle Grille which is located at the Hyatt and the very popular Bite restaurant which serves up great tapas and cocktails. The Lone Eagle has one of the best views on the lake. If you are in the mood for some great seafood, try the Wild Alaskan Fish Company restaurant and bar.
Party
A lot of locals and visitors stay at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort in Incline Village for its great views, service and private beach. So a lot of the nightlife revolves around the Hyatt bars which includes Cutthroat's Saloon, the Lone Eagle Lounge Great Room and the Lakeside Beach Bar and Grill.
Stay
While many people choose to rent a house or condominium for their stay in Incline, the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort is the largest hotel in the area and includes everything from a heated pool and private beach, half a dozen restaurants and bars, a kid's club, hiking trails and premium access to the lake.
Shop
Most of the shopping in Incline caters to the locals, but there are some beautiful shops to choose from. Even if you are not in the market for plants (but maybe some flowers) visit the High Sierra Gardens where just a walk through their nursery in the summer will make you want to move to Incline.
