Rosa Mexicano may pack the crowds due to its location in the popular seaport District, but customers return because of the stellar service, excellent eats and upbeat atmosphere. Enjoying a meal in this busy spot may require a wait, even during lunch, but a seat at the bar is just as pleasant as in the dining room. Their servers are not afraid to make a recommendation, that you should take because they know the menu well. The table-side guacamole is a must, as is the tuna ceviche and an order of tacos. The decor is more modern Mexican, think subdued tones. Pair their food with a specialty beverage or beer cocktail and you'll have a complete Mexican meal that you won't soon forget.
Recommended for Seaport District's Best Restaurants because: Rosa Mexicano serves meals all day to hungry crowds happy to see the familiar name of this chain.
Jessica's expert tip: Rosa Mexicano is packed with kids on weekends, especially in the afternoon, but leave them behind during later evening dining as you'll find Rosa Mexicano's bar scene heating up.
A meal at Temazcal is like a tropical escape. Whether you are seated waterside enjoying the light breeze from the water on their patio or watching the view through their floor to ceiling windows that allow diners to take in the view anytime of year, you will be impressed by the setting almost as much as by the food. While the creative menu, presented to guests on an iPad, not only explains the dishes being served, but also gives vibrant photos of what will arrive on your plate. When your food does arrive, be it the whole pig to be carved for your dining pleasure or the more traditional dishes like enchiladas, you'll be impressed by the flavors that come together to make this Mexican experience close to authentic.
Recommended for Seaport District's Best Restaurants because: Temazcal serves more than just margaritas, they mix up plates of Mexican food that will make your mouth water.

Sportello is a small diner-esque establishment in the up and coming Fort Point Channel. Sportello brings their trattoria style Italian dishes to life. Seating is offered two ways; you can be served counter side on backless stools, or at one of Sportello's very few tables. Dinner here allows you to casually enjoy a tasty meal in close proximity to everything the restaurant is doing. Your server stands across from you at the counter while the chef is firing up the food almost by your side. All pasta is made in house, and Sportello strives to use only the finest quality ingredients, especially what is local and seasonal. But the food does not start and end with dinner, a bakery and take out service is available throughout the day so those living or working in the area can enjoy a meal without having to be seated here.
Recommended for Seaport District's Best Restaurants because: Serving impressive plates of pasta paired with sauces that enhance their flavor Sportello is a trattoria that can't be missed.
Jessica's expert tip: Sportello serves one of the best Bolognese sauces in the city, but all of the pasta dishes are worth a try.

Legal Harborside is hot, and very good reason. The three floor concept offers something unique on every level. A lower level casual, fun, family friendly (avoid prime times with a young family) environment with moderately price, well prepared food and eye level waterfront views. Floor two provides guests with ultra fine dining at ultra high prices, as you gaze upon the harbor through their large windows. And floor three gives guests the chance to socialize among the stars while enjoying a drink or snack in their lounge like bar. At Legal's Harborside, you cannot help but enjoy the waterfront scene unfolding a few feet before your eyes.
Recommended for Seaport District's Best Restaurants because: Legal Harborside has it all: great seafood, views and service and the setting takes a Boston classic to a new level.
Jessica's expert tip: Enjoy classic Legal dishes on the first floor, fine dining on floor two or libations on floor three.
