Florence Baths opened in 1991 where open-minded gay people could gather. In Florence there aren't many saunas that can be used as nightlife hotspot. You are given slippers and towels when you enter after paying the cashier. Then finding your way to the relaxing baths you can lose yourself in the warm atmosphere. There is a Finnish sauna made of Swedish pine with a turkish bath, a large whirlpool, showers, bathrooms, many dressing rooms. They offer excellent service in drinks and food. Krisco Club is a historic gay club located in Via Sant'Egidio. It is a new gay club that is not only a cruising club but a club for parties, theme nights and performances. Krisco Club has a unique 80s spirit that expresses true contemporary genres. Monday night is set aside for gay men only, Wednesday is also for gay men only and is cruising gay night. Sunday and Tuesday, Krisco is closed. Thursday and Friday are a friendly nights and everyone is welcome to stop by and enjoy the DJs. Saturday is set aside for gays and their guests, you must be on the list.

Hard Bar85 is just a few meters from the Santa Maria Novella train station. This is a very hardcore gay club where nights are long and the people are very experimental. The hours are from 12:30am to 6am on the weekends and 10:30pm-3am on the weekdays. There are new DJs every Saturday. Bar85 is a quite dominatrix type of place that leaves little to the imagination. There are theme nights like on the 4th Saturday of the month is sneakers and sportswear and every Friday there is a choice between being nude, with a partner and being in front of others expressing yourself sexually.

Tabasco Gay Club was founded in 1974 and it was the first Italian gay club. It is located in a small square in Piazza della Signoria. The club is in an ancient crypt of Santa Cecilia, where Dante and Beatrice are said to have met. The crypt was destroyed when the Guelphs and Ghibellines fought and in its place a building was erected where Tabasco is now and the other one is where Rivoire cafe is. The location of Tabasco is so hidden and can be difficult to find. The clubs host Italian DJs as well as International DJs. This club can be found open late at night and all year round. Tabasco is ancient yet very comfortable to dance to the hip music and easy to meet new friends.
