Similar to Sonoma County's Coddingtown Mall, Santa Rosa Plaza is another wine country example of your typical indoor shopping mall. Located off of Highway 101 in the city of Santa Rosa, the mall features more than 120 stores. Well-known anchor stores include Macy's and Forever 21. Complimentary wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Strollers are available to rent. Paid parking garages are located on the West and North side of the mall. (Between the mall and Highway 101). Shoppers that spend more than $100, qualify for free parking, but they have to go out of their way to the mall office or parking kiosk for validation.

Napa Premium Outlets is less than a 15-minute drive from downtown Napa, off of Highway 29. The outdoor mall is home to 50 brand name stores including Ann Taylor Factory Store, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Calvin Klein, Gap Factory Store, GUESS Outlet, Lucky Brand Jeans, Michael Kors Outlet, J. Crew, and more. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate stores by Adidas, Asics, and Nike Factory Store, in one shopping center. Deals and Steals can often be found on the Napa Premium Outlets website. Strollers, wheelchairs, and electric vehicle charging stations are available for customers. Parking is free and fairly easy to find.

Petaluma Premium Village Outlets is an outdoor shopping mall located in Sonoma County off of Highway 101, about 45 minutes north of San Francisco. Bargain shoppers have 60 stores to choose from including easily recognized names like the Banana Republic, Kate Spade New York, Brooks Brothers, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Nike, and Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th. Additional deals and coupons can often be found on the Petaluma Premium Village Outlets website. Shoppers with children will find a number of stores that offer kids clothing including OshKosh B'Gosh, Carter's, Gap, and an Old Navy Outlet. The outlet mall has strollers and wheelchairs available for shoppers who need them. There's also a children's play area and electric vehicle charging stations.

If it's the traditional, indoor mall shopping experience you're craving, Coddingtown Mall in Santa Rosa is the place to find it. Locally run, it's still owned by the family that originally developed the mall more than 50 years ago in 1962. Food options are plentiful as well with eateries including BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Sea Noodle Bar, Jamba Juice, and Starbucks. In all, there are more than 40 shops to choose from. On the rare cold and rainy days, Coddingtown is a good place to stay warm and dry while you shop. Parking is free and plentiful.

Wine Country's newest shopping venue, First Street Napa, will be home to 45 retail shops and restaurants when completed. Opening in phases, there are 17 shops and restaurants currently open for business. Tenants currently up and running include Tommy Bahama, Charlie Palmer Steak Napa, Overland Sheepskin Co., Lululemon, Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, Compline wine bar + restaurant + merchant, Napa Valley Jewelers, Eiko's Modern Japanese Cuisine, Sky & Vine Rooftop Bar, and Kalifornia Jean Bar. First Street Napa is also home to the Archer Hotel Napa. In addition to free street parking, there are parking garages on Pearl Street and on Clay Street.

Sonoma Plaza has something for just about every mood. From restaurants to charming shops, wine tasting rooms and art galleries, it's easy to lose a day here just wandering about. Global Heart sells fair trade, handcrafted gifts from around the world. Shoppers will find everything from jewelry and home décor, to olive oil and clothing. Sonoma Cheese Factory offers gifts alongside tasty cheese, sandwiches, and local beer and wine. If you get tired, think about taking in a movie at the historic Sebastiani Theatre. Built in 1933, it's located across the street from Sonoma Plaza. A National Historic Landmark, the plaza is an eight-acre town square and is said to be the largest plaza of its kind in California. If you ever feel like you're running out of steam, grab something sweet from Moustache Baked Goods and savor a sugar rush.

Chock full of shops, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms, you can park your car and forget about it in downtown Napa. From shops full of gourmet wine and food to antique, and clothing stores, even if you don't need anything, window shopping in downtown Napa is a fun way to spend an afternoon. The Store at CIA Copia stocks a varied selection of cookware, linens, and locally-made pottery. Check to see if there are any in-store demonstrations or book signings when you're in town. Yarns on First has a colorful selection of yarns and a community knitting table. If you need something more mainstream, there's even a Kohl's department store.

Located in downtown Napa, Oxbow Public Market is popular with both locals and visitors alike. The 40,000 square foot marketplace boasts 22 merchants, each independently owned and operated. Along with a pair of butcher shops, there's a fish market, local organic produce store, spice market, oyster bar, and coffee shop. If you're looking for something a little different than the typical wine tasting, try a sampler flight of fresh beer releases at Fieldwork Brewing Company, or seasonal and unique craft spirits at Napa Valley Distillery's Oxbow Tasting Salon & Vintage Bar Shop. Oxbow Public Market is open seven days a week. Most shops and eateries are open until 9:00 pm, with later hours on Friday evenings.

This outdoor shopping center stretches a number of blocks and offers a great range of products and services. Stores you won't find anywhere else are plentiful and include the likes of Bird's Nest Antiques, The Classic Duck gift shop, and Sonoma Outfitters. Home to restaurants for every budget and palate you can grab classic San Francisco sourdough bread at Boudin SF, or enjoy Mexican eats at Cascabel. Forgot something? Along with a post office, several banks and a grocery store, there's a Ross Dress for Less department store. Montgomery Village holds a number of family-friendly events and concerts throughout the year, especially on weekends and holidays. Parking is free and plentiful.
