Squonk’s newest show, Brouhaha, brings rollicking music and dazzling imagery to the Koger Center’s outdoor plaza stage.

Why it matters:

Free performances unite audiences in a joyful celebration.

The big picture:

Squonk creates boisterous outdoor spectacles with playful staging and high-energy music.

Brouhaha follows the success of Squonk’s critically acclaimed Hand to Hand, which was performed at the Koger Center in 2023. Propelled by Squonk’s signature music, the show featured two 25-foot purple puppet hands, designed so the audience could be part of the show.

Brouhaha, Squonk’s newest show, is an immersive outdoor spectacle bursting with rollicking music, dazzling imagery, and the thrill of audience participation. At the center of this riotous romp is the Squonkcordion, an enormous musical instrument the audience gets to play. Brouhaha combines the joy of community with Squonk’s signature music and flamboyant visual pageantry.

The bottom line:

Catch Squonk’s Brouhaha on May 15 and 16 at 6:00 p.m. on Koger Center’s plaza stage.
