Week two of our two-week homestand begins now! The Fireflies battle in-state rival, the Charleston RiverDogs this weekend, and on-top of the on-field action, we’ve got plenty of additional fun planned for you! This weekend is also the return of Los Chicharrones de Columbia, our fan favorite Hispanic identity, for Copa de la Diversión Weekend presented by Southern Recipe Small Batch. It’ll be a weekend full of good music, good food and family fun. Here is everything you have to look forward to for Copa Weekend at Segra Park:
Thursday, May 16 at 7:05pm: Let’s get SPOOKY, Columbia! We’re not waiting until October 31st to celebrate one of our favorite holidays, it’s Halfway to Halloween tonight at Segra Park! Dress up in your favorite Halloween costume, whatever that may be, and be very, very afraid of tonight’s Budweiser Thirsty Thursday specials where the drink specials are as easy as 1, 2, 3: $1 fountain sodas, $2 domestic draft beer, $3 craft draft beer and $3 house cocktails all night long!
Friday, May 17 at 7:05pm: Vamos Chicharrones! Copa de la Diversión Weekend is back at Segra Park as the Fireflies transform into Los Chicharrones de Columbia this Friday through Sunday. Friday night is also Soccer Night at Segra Park, featuring a Chicharrones Soccer Jersey giveaway for the first 1000 fans in attendance thanks to Southern Recipe Small Batch.
Saturday, May 18 at 6:05pm: Copa Weekend presented by Southern Recipe Small Batch continues Saturday night with an appearance by the lovable ZOOperstars! and a post-game firework spectacular. This Saturday night at Segra Park is also Girl Scout Night.
Sunday, May 19 at 5:05pm: Copa Weekend, presented by Southern Recipe Small Batch, concludes with another Sunday Funday! Watch Los Chicharrones de Columbia take the field after pre-game player autographs from 4 to 4:30, then stick around after the game for post-game kids run the bases presented by Bang Back Pinball Lounge.
