Woman hit and killed by truck while riding horse

GLEN WHITE, W. Va. (WVVA/Gray News) – A woman was hit and killed by a truck while riding a horse in West Virginia Sunday.
Deputies were called to respond to reports of a crash involving a truck and horse around 10 p.m. on Lester Highway, according to Raleigh County Sheriff J.C. Canaday.
Deputies and bystanders tried using lifesaving measures on the woman, but she died from her injuries.
The truck driver has not yet been charged, but the crash is still under investigation.
