Orangeburg motorcyclist dies after crashing into fence

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A person is dead following a crash Saturday night, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP).
Troopers said the crash happened at around 10:05 p.m. Saturday on US-301 near Short Avenue. They said the driver of a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling south on US-301 before running off the left side of the road and crashing into a fence.
The Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office has not released any details about the victim’s identity.
SCHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
