COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Fort Jackson opened its gate to the public for an Independence Day Celebration.

There was a fireworks show, live music and a kid’s zone with carnival rides ― all free to the public.

Local artists that performed during the Fourth of July celebration were Hijacked, Jazzy Trinity, the Reggie Sullivan Band, and DJ Payne.

It was a great day for service members, and those in training, to show off their patriotic spirit.
