Woman accused of posing as lawyer arrested in Chatham Co.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A woman accused of posing as a lawyer in Chatham County for years has been arrested.
Sharong Nicole Smith also known as Nicole Johnston was charged with first degree forgery, theft by deception, unauthorized practice of law and financial identity fraud.
Smith was indicted on 14 counts of related to this case last week.
WTOC reached out to Smith, addressing her under her professional name.
She did answer the call but then hung up when we identified ourselves.
