6 hurt in crash on Highway 17 Bypass near Dick Pond Road

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) - Six people are being taken to the hospital following a 2-car crash in Horry County.
Horry County Fire Rescue crews were dispatched at 3:40 p.m. for the crash along Highway 17 Bypass near Dick Pond Road. HCFR said the crash involved one overturned vehicle.
The roads are blocked while crews clear the scene. HCFR is asking people to avoid the area for the safety of the first responders on the scene and to prevent further delays.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
