2 juveniles, 1 adult arrested in Clarendon County murder from April

TURBEVILLE, S.C. (WIS) - The Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday the arrest of three people in connection to an April 26 murder.

One juvenile and an adult, 24 years old, were arrested and taken into custody on June 28, more than a month after the murder happened.

Charges are pending against a third juvenile suspect, according to the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s office, Earl Singletary was found inside of an abandoned mobile home at 1098 Mickey Street in the Turbeville area. An autopsy determined that Singletary died from blunt force trauma to the head, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies found that Singletary was involved in a fight around April 26. Through their investigating, the three suspects were identified.

One of the teenagers has been charged with murder. The adult, Qawiee Shabios Antanio Singletary, 24, was charged with obstruction of justice and assault in the third degree.

Investigators are continuing to look into Earl Singletary’s death. Anyone with information regarding what happened is encouraged to call the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office at 803-435-4414 and ask for the investigations division, a news release said.
