COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Let’s get reading, Midlands!

The Sunrise team believes in the power of reading and the importance of nurturing young minds. This summer, we’re excited to launch the Sunrise Bookclub, an initiative designed to celebrate students in the Midlands who are diving into the world of books during their break.

If your child has read ten or more books this summer, they have a chance to be highlighted on Sunrise. Simply enter their name and the list of books they’ve read in the submission form below. All grades are welcome to participate.

How to Participate:

  • Read ten or more books: Encourage your child to read and keep track of their books
  • Submit your entry: Enter your child’s name and book list in the submission form below
  • Get featured: Tune in to Sunrise to see if your young reader is highlighted

Reading is not just a way to pass the time—it’s a gateway to adventure, knowledge and imagination. By participating in Sunrise Bookclub, students can:

  • Earn recognition by getting a shoutout on Sunrise and having their achievements celebrated on air
  • Inspire others by encouraging peers to pick up a book and explore new stories
  • Build a community by joining a network of young readers who share a love for books.

Join us in celebrating summer readers. We’re thrilled to spotlight the next generation of readers and can’t wait to see the incredible stories they’ve discovered.
