COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Sharing a message of acceptance and kindness. One Midlands fifth grader is doing just that in her new book!

Harmony Loadholt is a student at Leaphart Elementary and is now a published author! Her book is called “It’s Okay to be Different.”

She says the story was inspired by her little brother, Harlem, who’s an amputee that was born with anisomelia.

She wanted to highlight the importance of embracing and loving everyone, no matter their disability.

You can purchase Harmony’s book on Amazon!
