LANGLEY POND, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Southeast Masters Regional Rowing Championships are back at Langley Pond over the weekend in Aiken County.

U.S. Rowing welcomed hundreds of rowers from all over the country, and you got to catch it from a pretty cool view, too.

If you headed out to the park Saturday morning, spectators of the Regatta saw a couple of new additions, three docks at midpoint.

And the finish line spectator dock debuted.

It is a major upgrade for Langley.

The pond has been hosting rowing competitions for almost three decades.

There are s similar ones that are all over the United States and we had about 300 rowers from eight states across the Southeast rowing in more than 250 events.

Augusta rowers were featured in Saturday’s Men’s Masters single race and the Women’s Masters eight-person race.
