COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - WIS United for Veterans along with the South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs (SCDVA) and the Columbia Fireflies is inviting the public to Military Appreciation Night at Segra Park.

It’s being held July 2 at 7:05 p.m. to thank our he roes past and present for their service and commitment to our nation.

The evening will feature performances by the Fort Jackson band and color guard.

The Columbia Fireflies will also honor up to eight Heroes of the Inning between innings during the game.

WIS and the SCDVA will be present with various veterans service organizations such as the SCDVA themselves, the Big Red Barn Retreat and Range fore Hope Foundation to connect with military members and veterans alike.

Information and education about the various benefits and support services that exist within our community will be provided.
