COLUMBIA, SC – The S.C. State Election Commission has certified the results of the June 11 Statewide Primaries. The election commission wants to make sure voters understand the rules for voting in the runoffs, which are set for Tuesday, June 25.

Voters who voted in the June 11 Primaries are limited to voting in the same party’s Runoff. However, voters who did not vote in the June 11 Primaries can choose to vote in either party’s Runoff.

The deadline to return an absentee application for the Runoffs was June 14 at 5:00 p.m. If you applied for an absentee ballot, you will receive your ballot in the mail soon.

Once you get your ballot in the mail, complete and return your ballot to your county voter registration office by mail or in person no later than 7:00 p.m. on June 25.

SC Election says to remember to sign the voter’s oath and have the return envelope witnessed. They recommend returning your ballot in person to ensure timely delivery. A photo ID will be required to return your ballot in person.

The Early Voting Period will begin Wednesday, June 19 – Friday, June 21, with polling locations open from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Click here to get the locations for each county.

Polling Place on Election Day will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on June 25. Check your polling place at scVOTES.gov before leaving to vote. The Election Commission also says to bring your Photo ID.

All Runoffs are listed below. Check your sample ballot at scVOTES.gov to see offices in which you are eligible to vote. Some voters will not have a Runoff.
