Juneteenth & Black Eats Week 803: Celebrating Midlands Cuisine with Rebel Dogs!

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Capital City is alive with the spirit of Juneteenth and the flavors of Black Eats Week 803.

The weeklong celebration will run from June 17 until June 23, marking the historic milestone of emancipation and a culinary journey through Black-owned businesses across the Midlands.

The participating establishments include:

1. Rebel Dogs

Address: 504 Gervais Street in Columbia

Hours: Mon - Sat 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

2. Ms. B’s Southern Soul Food

Address: 676 St Andrews Road in Columbia

Hours: Tues -Thurs noon- 9 p.m., Fri and Sat noon - 10 p.m., Sun noon - 9 p.m.

3. Annie B’s Mini Donuts (Food Truck) Stay tuned for updates on her schedule for that week!

4. Mr. Seafood

Address: 494 Town Center Plaza in Columbia

Hours: Tues - Thurs noon - 9 p.m., Fri and Sat noon - 10 p.m., Sun noon - 6 p.m.

5. Indulge N Pts

Address: 5708 N Main Street, Suite D, in Columbia

Hours: Tues - Thurs 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Fri 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., Every other Sat noon - 5 p.m. (will be open the Saturday of Black Eats Week)

6. Trini Lime Caribbean Cafe

Address: 2008 State Stree in Cayce

Hours: Wed-Thurs 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Fri and Sat 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

7. Calabash Caribbean Grill

Address: 817 St Andrews Road in Columbia

Hours: Tues - Sat 11 a,.m. - 9 p.m., Sun noon - 8 p.m.

8. Le Bambou

Address: 10203 Two Notch Road in Columbia

Hours: Thurs and Fri, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., Sat 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
