COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - June is National Gun Violence Awareness Month, something that hits very close to home for many who have lost loved ones or lives have been forever altered by trauma.
This month and before heading back to school there will be several community events taking place led by the City of Columbia Office of Violent Crime Prevention and their partners at SC Department of Juvenile Justice.
