COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Frida is a 5-month-old Labrador Retriever mix up for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Frida was found roaming a rural property with many other dogs. Pawmetto Lifeline was able to take in 8 of them – 4 adult dogs and 4 puppies. When the dogs were rescued, they were all very scared and had probably never felt the touch of a human.

She has been in foster care for 3 months now and has really come out of her shell! Frida has 4 other furry friends in her foster home that have been a tremendous help in teaching her all the doggy ways. Frida loves to play with her foster siblings!

Frida is very soft with the most beautiful golden eyes. She is a super sweet girl and absolutely loves attention now! Frida gets so excited when the humans come home and will follow you around like your little shadow. She would love to snuggle in the bed with you and will sleep though the night!

She is doing fantastic with her house training and walks beautifully on a leash! Frida loves treats and will automatically sit for them. She loves to be called a “good girl” and will come running when she hears it. Frida can’t wait to meet you!

Frida has a reduced adoption fee of $50! Her adoption fee includes her spay, microchip and up-to-date vaccines. If you are interested in adopting Frida, complete an adoption application online at www.pawmettolifeline.org.

Pawmetto Lifeline is also offering their 2024 Fur Friends Summer Camp sessions, with this year’s theme being “Pawlympics.” Campers will learn about how to be animal advocates and interact with homeless pets. To learn more, click here!
