CLEMSON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Clemson Tigers (41-14) are one of 16 programs selected to host an NCAA regional for the Division I Baseball Championship.

The regional begins Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Clemson is the No. 6 national seed and No. 1 seed in the Clemson Regional.

The Tigers will begin its NCAA postseason against No. 4 High Point University (34-25). The Tigers also host No. 3 Coastal Carolina (34-23) and No. 2 Vanderbilt (38-21) in the Clemson regional.

It is the 18th time since 1980 that Clemson hosts a regional and second year in a row. The Tigers will make their 46th NCAA Tournament appearance, fifth most in NCAA history.
