COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Allergy season is in full swing and with the summer months coming up--kids will be out and about much more, making it easier for them to fall victim to allergic reactions and even infections.

Getting an ear infection is a common thing we see in children. These infections can happen for a variety of reasons, and the infection can be painful and cause difficulty sleeping.

Ear tubes may be a course of treatment.

Dr. Ryan Waclzack of Lexington ENT & Allergy, sat down with Intisar Faulkner to share information about ear tubes and what parents need to know.
