COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Autumn is a 5-month-old Hound/Terrier mix puppy up for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline!

Pawmetto Lifeline rescued Autumn from a local municipal shelter several months ago where there had been an outbreak of Parvo. Thankfully, she tested negative for Parvo and is a perfectly healthy pup! Autumn has been patiently waiting in foster care for a forever home since she was just 10 weeks old.

The first thing you will notice about Autumn is her beautiful brindle coat! She is a stunning young lady with a wonderful personality. Autumn has never met a stranger. She wants to be best friends with everyone, no matter what species! Autumn is great with dogs, cats and humans. She is the kind of dog that you can take anywhere and she can’t wait to go on lots of awesome adventures! She loves to be on-the-go and doesn’t want to miss out on anything. Autumn is a big lovebug and just a very sweet soul. She is a super active girl but, after she gets all her energy out, she is down for a snuggle! Squeaky toys are her favorite thing in the whole world and she is great at entertaining herself with them. She even knows how to fetch already!

Autumn is still a puppy and learning new manners all the time. She would love an experienced adopter that will continue her training. Autumn is very intelligent and picks up fast on new things. She is also very treat-motivated which makes training fun and easy for everyone! She responds well to a stern voice and it is very easy to re-direct any naughty behaviors with toys. Autumn has been doing great with leash training and is getting better at potty training every day! She sleeps great in a crate. Autumn would benefit from an adult dog in the home to learn from.

Autumn has a reduced adoption fee of $50. You can meet her this Saturday at Pawmetto Lifeline between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
