COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Foster is a 1-year-old Lab mix up for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

A Good Samaritan found Foster in the middle of a busy street in Lexington with a badly broken toe that had to be amputated. The finder decided to foster the dog and joined Pawmetto Lifeline’s Home-to-Home Adoption Program for help with veterinary care and finding Foster a forever home.

Foster is super sweet, affectionate and gives the best cuddles! He is very loyal and loves to be where his humans are. Foster loves to lay next to you and be petted. He is a well-behaved, mild-mannered boy. He will do absolutely anything for a treat! Foster’s favorite activities include sunbathing, snuggling, car rides, meeting new people, playing with toys, walks and trips to Home Depot with his foster dad.

He is a fantastic dog that would do well in just about any home setting. Foster has done great with other dogs and children! He is a healthy boy, around 55 pounds, and is neutered and heartworm negative!

Foster will be on-site for adoptions this Saturday at Pawmetto Lifeline from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.! Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application online before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org. Pawmetto Lifeline is located at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
