COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Patty (calico) and O’Brian (white and black) are a bonded pair of 1-year-old cats up for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

This adorable duo is as cute as can be! They are very playful and extremely affectionate -- the best of both worlds! O’Brian is a little more energetic and adventurous, while Patty is more laidback and always looking for a snuggle. Patti and O’Brian love to cuddle together and will bring so much happiness to their new family’s life! They are both very talkative, love to play with each other and humans! They are great with kids and even dogs!

Adopters continue to overlook Patty and O’Brian due to a scary-sounding medical acronym called FeLV, which stands for Feline Leukemia. Patty is considered FeLV positive. However, she has never shown any signs. FeLV cats just have a weaker immune system, but they are in fact healthy and can live a long life! FeLV is contagious to other cats so they would need to be your only kitties, unless you have others with FeLV as well. Patty and O’Brian are considered “Priority Pets” at Pawmetto Lifeline! With their adoption, they will receive two free exams per year at Pawmetto Lifeline’s Wellness Clinic, plus discounted medication and free core vaccinations for life!

These cats have been homeless their entire lives. Pawmetto Lifeline commits to each animal for life, no matter how long they have to wait for a forever home. This is why the McDaniels Subaru Bark to the Park fundraiser is so important! Help save more pets like Patty and O’Brian by signing up for Bark to the Park! The event will be at Saluda Shoals Park this Saturday, April 13 and will be a fun day full of hundreds of dogs, entertainment, goodies, refreshments and more! Learn more about this life-saving fundraiser and register at barktothepark.com.
