COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Boney is a 14-year-old tabby cat up for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Sadly, Boney’s owner is terminally ill and will not be coming home from the hospital. Pawmetto Lifeline is looking for a loving home for this sweet boy to live out his golden years.

Boney is quite possibly the friendliest cat you will ever meet! He absolutely adores attention and is extremely affectionate. Boney loves to be held like a baby and get his belly scratched. He will sit up on your shoulder and let you carry him all around the house. Boney has never met a stranger and will give you the most enamored gaze like you are the only human in his world!

Boney is almost like a dog, the way he has an undying love and affection for humans. He will reach out and gently pat you with his paw to tell you that you aren’t paying enough attention to him. He is a very active guy, especially considering his age, but does enjoy a nap in the window between adventures.

Boney has hyperthyroidism, but it is easily managed. He is super easy to medicate and the medicine is very inexpensive. He gets along well with other cats that are laidback. Boney has a lot of love left to give and is excited to start his new chapter with a wonderful family!

Right now, adult cats are only $50 to adopt! Adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. You can meet Boney at Pawmetto Lifeline during adoption hours with an approved adoption application!

Pawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org.
