COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The University of South Carolina baseball team’s Friday contest against Clemson has been postponed due to rain in the Midlands.

A future matchup date at Founders Park is to be determined and ticket information regarding the first game of the rivalry series will be shared at a later date.

The Gamecocks and Tigers will shift to Segra Park, home of the Columbia Fireflies, on Saturday, March 2 at 4 p.m. The game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

WIS will livestream a pre-game show from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. exclusively online.

The annual 3-game series continues on Sunday, with the first pitch at 2 p.m. at Clemson’s Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

USC won last year’s series 2-1 over Clemson thanks to home runs from Carson Hornung and Cole Messina at the neutral site game at Fluor Field in Greenville. The Gamecocks also picked up the win at Founders Park as Jack Mahoney and James Hicks combined to strike out 10 in a 7-1 win.
