Behind the Scenes of WIS’ Black History Month Special ‘It Started Here’

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - In honor of Black History Month, WIS is honoring pioneers and changemakers who’s stories went untold as they fought for equal rights here and nationwide.
Our Black History Month special, It Started Here, airs Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m.
This passion project was created by our very own Billie Jean Shaw and Intisar Faulkner, who told us about their experience behind the scenes.
