Construction is rolling at Universal's new theme park from ride testing to new theming elements.
Experts say they are impressed with how quickly Epic Universe is coming together, and how crews are turning the concept art into something quite epic.
Chopper 2 captured video of the red, blue and green Yoshi carts no longer under wraps at the soon-to-be Super Nintendo World as well as some exciting new theming elements.
It's another sign Epic Universe is one step closer to opening in Orlando.
"Attractions already have vehicles on the tracks cycling, testing, working out the bugs," said Seth Kubersky from Attractions Magazine.
Universal Orlando Resort revealed ideas of what the five worlds will look like in the new theme park by releasing concept art.
Experts say they're amazed at how it evolved from the first announcement to now.
"The biggest change is that where there was once going to be a classic monsters amphitheater with a show, is now a spinning roller coaster that's already being tested and that is themed to the Wolfman," Kubersky said.
"In Celestial Park, the hub of the park, there's actually going to be additional dining that wasn't even covered in that latest reveal of information, but it is under construction."
While this work continues, theme park experts say Universal is already looking at ways to expand the park.
"They've got new expansions ready to go for the Harry Potter area and for the Nintendo area," Kubersky said.
"It is extremely exciting to see something that we've only seen in permits and concept art, actually coming to life."
