Im Oktober stimmt Moldau über den EU-Beitritt ab. Russland Machthaber Putin will das unbedingt verhindern – und zündelt nicht nur in Transnistrien, sondern nun auch in Gagausien gegen das prowestliche Land. Dass er sich ausgerechnet diese kleine, unbekannte Provinz aussucht, ist kein Zufall.
