Transportation to/from city
Most convenient: A taxi to downtown will take about 15 minutes and cost around $20. Uber and Lyft are permitted to operate at SLC. See more options.
Least expensive: UTA (Utah Transit Authority) TRAX Green light rail train to downtown Salt Lake City will take about 20 minutes. Fare: $2.50. See more options.
Wi-Fi and charging stations
SLC offers free Wi-Fi throughout the airport.
Power outlets are located throughout the terminals. A bank of power strips is available in the connector between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

The Gateway Mall, 7 miles from SLC, has a planetarium, children's museum, movie theaters and other attractions; City Creek Center is 8 miles away. Free 1-hour tours of Temple Square and the Salt Lake LDS (Mormon) Temple are available; ask for details at the information desks.
