The 2024 election cycle is in full swing. Tonight, President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, and former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, will participate in their first debate of the year.

The debate will take place tonight (Thursday, June 27), starting at 9 p.m. eastern / 6 p.m. pacific. It will look quite different than previous debates, as it will take place at CNN's network studios in Atlanta—not on a college campus, or another neutral location. CNN's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate the event, and there will be no studio audience.

Per CNN, "The debate will include two commercial breaks, and campaign staff may not interact with their candidate during that time. The candidates agreed to appear at a uniform podium. Microphones will be muted throughout the debate except for the candidate whose turn it is to speak. While no props or pre-written notes will be allowed on the stage, candidates will be given a pen, a pad of paper and a bottle of water."

The presidential debate will air on CNN, CNN International, and CNN en Español on cable. The debate will also stream on Max and CNN.com.

In addition, per Politico, "CNN is offering other networks a free simulcast of the debate with one main stipulation: The network’s on-air watermark must remain on screen. Fox News, ABC, NBC and C-SPAN have all agreed to CNN’s terms and will carry the broadcast." So, you can watch the debate on those channels as well.

Biden and Trump have agreed to one other debate, hosted on September 10 by ABC.
